FOWM #235 - New Region For Missional Engagement - MENA

FOWM #235 - New Region For Missional Engagement - MENA

The new MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region may be small, but the work is large. Since pledging our desire to deepen our commitment to MENA, we have been busy working to establish a foundation for long-term ministry. Many individual churches, conferences, and the denomination as a whole have already partnered with ministries in the region, such as Bethlehem Bible College, orphanage work in Turkey and Egypt, relief work in Syria and Libya, Bible societies in Jordan and Israel, and reconciliation initiatives in Israel and Palestine. By recognizing MENA as an official region, we seek to deepen our existing partnerships there, as well as make new ones. We also anticipate a time when God will lead us to send more missionaries to work with these partners.

As we look to become more engaged in what God is doing in this beautiful, but volatile area of the world, we will focus on ministry to the persecuted church, ministry to refugees, Muslim engagement, and peace and reconciliation with a focus on Israel/Palestine.

FOWM project #235 will seek to raise start-up funds for this new region, allowing us to do many things such as standing with persecuted Christians and assisting with humanitarian efforts in Syria.

Thank you for partnering with this strategic mission effort today!
